DIAMOND TOOLS

Polycrystaline Diamond Tools are already a reality which is fully integrated into the furniture industry.

When working with particle or MD boards with laminates or melamine coverings, diamond tools provide remarkable savings and their life is between 50 to 200 times higher than of the TCT tools.

The following applications are particularly interesting:

• sawing veneer boards on squaring or sectioning machines.
• Edge trimming before bonding, with cutters or hogging sets.
• Copying works, straight or with profile, on pantograph.

Our Diamond tools program now offers two different solutions:

DIA Tools - manufactured in the traditional way, with wide PCD tips, which can be resharpened several times.

DIAMIX - tools equipped with smaller PCD tips, with the following specifications:

• they can be resharpened once or twice, depending on wear.
• Usually used as a disposable tool.
• Because of its low initial cost, and because it does not need re-grinding thus maintaining its cutting diameter, it is the ideal way to get started with PCD tools.

The Diamond qualities and accuracy are identical in both cases.
